Overview

The Eurufly Student Ambassador Program is a leadership program that offers university students an opportunity to represent and promote the Eurufly Travel Abroad program and values to prospective students, their families, and other guests. Student Ambassadors will be able to help educate students and young professionals about the exchange programs, culture, and values of Eurufly and supporting the Student Travel Abroad Leadership departments, conducting campus tours, supporting high school recruitment events, and supporting organizational and Foundation functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Student Travel Abroad Leadership department events (Including, but not limited to: festivals, exchange requirement campaigns, study abroad, educational fairs, youth Conference, international exchange days and membership club program,)
  • Conduct Campus Tours
  • Meet and greet prospective students, families, alumni, and special guests
  • Assist in Foundation Fundraising/Community Relation efforts
  • Represent the Organization at off-campus events as needed
  • Provide assistance in the HQ office
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Student Ambassador Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be enrolled into an undergraduate program and have successfully completed at vleast six (3) semesters at a prestigious university prior to applying
  • Must have and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA at school while in the program
  • Must be a student in good standing and not on Academic, Progress, or Disciplinary Probation
  • Must have a team player mindset and willing to support the organizational goals.
  • Must commit to working a full academic year
  • Must pay the student Fee each semester/session

Student Ambassador Time Commitments

  • Must be available to attend mandatory weekly meetings on Mondays from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
  • Must be available to attend all Training Sessions and Retreats Throughout the Year
  • Must commit to working a full academic year beginning Fall through Spring and Summer

  • Possess the ability to listen, problem-solve, and react quickly

Compensation

Student Ambassadors are unpaid, the spirit of volunteering is the compass of this role  Hoever, Student earns Eurufly Travel Points which is likened to a stipend when converted at the end of each semester that they are in the program. This is according to the most updated loyalty scale on file with the Student Ambassador Leadership Department.

Instructions for Applying

Applications can be found HERE. Recruitment for Eurufly Student Ambassadors takes place every summer. Students must be available to commit a full academic year beginning in the summer and through the fall and spring. To be considered, students must submit the application by the priority deadline, which is May 30th, 2020 but applications are accepted year-round.

The application process consists of the following:

  • Completed Student Ambassador Application
  • Available for an Interview
  • A Letter of Recommendation from faculty or staff member at school.
  • Consideration of your Availability & Work Plan
