What is Work and Travel USA Program?

Work and travel is an adventurous experience for students to earn during summer holiday as they work and also explore the beautiful places of the big apple, New York city, other states in the USA You will gain seasonal work experience, explore the local culture, and travel within the U.S.

What Kind of Jobs Offer or Position? :

Prep cook, cashier, housekeeping staff, lifeguard, front desk personnel, costumer service and many more.

How much will I be paid and can work over time?

$7-15$ per hour and work minimum 30-40hours per week.Overtime compensation laws vary in each state and these laws apply. It is advisable for participants to explore other cultural activities of the USA, rather than excessive hours for extra pay.

What are the Benefits?

Who is Eligibility?

To participate in Eurufly’s Summer Work and Travel Program, Below are required qualifications:

18-29 years old.
Be interested in learning about the culture and people of the United States or Europe.
Enrolled as a full-time student in a degree-granting, post-secondary study program in your home country.
Good level of English including the ability to speak, read and understand English.
Pass an in-person or web interview conducted by a Eurufly Abroad Program/partner staff member.
Be able to participate during your university "main" break between terms. Participation during other secondary breaks from school is not allowed.
Be willing to work in an entry-level job Without Criminal background.
Return back your country after completing Travel Program.
Sufficient funds to be able to support yourself during the first month of the program.

When Can I apply?

Early bird registration starts 1st August - September, and Main registration commerce until Jan 31. It is advise to start early in order to secure job placement early and with the high demand of participants each year. In exception cases we accept participants in Febubary with extra cost in program fees.

What is Cost for Program ?

The cost of full program fee is $2217 (N820,290) (Offering a job, arranging interview with an employer and electronic job offer, J1 Visa sponsor , Eurufly In-country support including access to 24/7 support in and after arrival in the USA, Visa fees ) Exclusive of accommodation and flight.

How much do for flight?

Flight Ticket estimation $1350 (N492,750) - $1500 (N547,500) noted prices are subject to change based on airline and travel demands.

Accommodation:

Accommodation: $90 (N32,850) - 120$ (N54,750) a week or $500 (N182,500) -$600 (N219,000) monthly, students can pair with friends but not more than three in numbers.

Cancellation

Participants who choose to cancel his or her application after payment of program fees and work and travel process has started will not be refunded.

Visa denial

If an unfortunate situation happens with visa denial, no placement fee, agency fees will be refunded, J1 Visa do refund partial fee, after the reason of the denial is review, in situation where participant is held responsible such false documentation etc, there will be no compensation. However, some J1 Visa Sponsor so not refund, kindly confirm with program coordinator of the terms and condition of the J1 Visa sponsor you assigned to. But the J1 Visa put in the work to assist participants in successful application and applicants are advise to follow the orientation carefully.

Can I travel earlier to my summer camp and also after my Camp Job stay longer in the USA?

Participants can arrive 30days before Camp starts, but it is not advise so you can refreshed for work. After you camp you are free to spend up to 30days in the USA to explore cultural activities. FAQ of Work and Travel Program.

Summer Camp USA

What is Summer USA Program?

Experience the Summer Camp working with teens and kids in the USA with Eurufly Abroad Program! get paid and learn new cultures, make new friends and unforgettable adventures in the USA.

What Kind of Jobs Offer or Position?:

Work in Camp with kids, teens, directors of sports teams, counsellors etc.

How much will I be paid and can work over time?

$7-15$ per hour or $1000 per month, wages differs from camp to camp. It is advisable for participants to explore other cultural activities of the USA, rather than excessive hours for extra pay.

Internship

What is Internship & Trainee?

Internship programs are designed to allow foreign college and university students or recent graduates to travel to the United States, Europe, Canada or Asia to gain exposure to proposed country culture and to receive hands-on experience in these countries (United States, Europe, Canada, China etc) business practices in their chosen occupational field.

What is Trainee?

Trainee program is designed for young professionals, with a degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary academic institution and at least one year of prior related work experience in his or her occupational field outside the United States; or Has five years of work experience outside the United States in the occupational field in which they are seeking training.

What kind of Jobs?

Clerical or office support work. Interns cannot work in unskilled or casual labor positions, in positions that require or involve childcare or elder care, or in any kind of position that involves patient care or contact.

Pay: Pay: $10 - $15 per hour, 40 hours per week

What are the Career Fields?

What is the Program fees? :

Self Placement and J1 Visa Sponsorship - $2600 or more.

Custom Job Placement and J1 Visa sponsorship - $4,400 - $6650 more Exclusive of health insurance,$55 per month, visa fees ($180).

How much will I be paid?

Professional J-1 is $11-15$ per hour and work minimum 40hours per week. 12 to 18 months, and salary can be anywhere from $19,000 to $130,000 per year.

The cost of self placement with J1 Visa Sponsorship ranges from $2600 (N962,000) while full program fees ranges $4450(N1646,500 - $6650 (N2460,500) which includes job placement, arranging interview with an employer and electronic job offer, J1 Visa sponsor , Eurufly In-country support including access to 24/7 support in and after arrival in the USA, Visa fees ) Exclusive of accommodation and flight

What is Self placement ?

Participants secures his or her job by themselves.
